The royal wedding was the biggest event of 2011, after huge speculation over who the dress designer was it finially was shown to be Sarah Burton for Alexander Mcqueen. The dress was beautifully made with white lace, pleated skirt and the coat of arms embroidered into the front. Sarah gave the game away when she was spotted running from the Goring Hotel where Kate middleton was staying and people noticed the belt she wears. Mcqueen was a daring choice for the Royals after Mcqueen claimed to have stiched rude words into a jacket of Prince Charles's suit and the aggresive nature of his work but overall the dress was beautifully made and was the right choice for the day.
